Introduction of PH Regulator

In order to discharge or reuse the wastewater after treatment, a variety of chemicals are required in the wastewater sewage water treatment process.

According to different uses, these agents can be divided into the following categories:

Flocculant

Coagulant Aid

Conditioner

Demulsifier

Defoamer

PH Regulator

Redox

Disinfectant

PH regulator is used to adjust the pH value of acidic wastewater and alkaline wastewater to neutral.

The types of PH Regulator

When the pH value of acidic wastewater is raised, alkali or alkaline oxide is used as neutralizer.

When the pH value of alkaline wastewater is lowered, acid or acidic oxide is used as neutralizer.

The neutralizers often used to adjust the pH value of acidic wastewater include lime, limestone, dolomite, sodium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, etc.

Sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid are used to adjust the pH value of alkaline wastewater.

When neutralizing acid containing wastewater, some alkaline industrial waste residues can also be used nearby, such as calcium carbonate waste residue discharged from chemical water softening station, calcium carbide waste residue (mainly composed of calcium hydroxide) discharged from organic chemical plants or acetylene generating stations, waste limestone ash screened from steel plants or calcium carbide plants, furnace ash from thermal power plants and boron sludge from boric acid plants.

In the treatment of alkaline wastewater, flue gas can also be used to neutralize the alkali in the wastewater by using the acidic gases such as CO2 and SO2.

When the pH value of wastewater is too large or too small, 40% NaOH and 98% H2SO4 can be used as pH regulators for acid containing wastewater and alkali containing wastewater respectively, in order to reduce the volume of reagent dissolving tank and reagent tank required for pH adjustment and achieve automatic control of pH adjustment. At the same time, it can avoid the sludge problem caused by the use of lime alkalies and reduce the opportunity of secondary pollution.

Introduction of Lime PH Neutralizer

Lime pH neutralizer is a kind of high alkalinity lime powder, which is mainly used to neutralize the acid in wastewater, adjust the pH value of wastewater, and form hydroxide precipitation with heavy metals in wastewater. In wastewater treatment, it also has the function of demulsification and improving the coagulation effect. Its ability to adjust the pH value of wastewater is equivalent to that of sodium hydroxide, which can be used to replace sodium hydroxide. At the same time, it also has the advantages of low use cost and better wastewater coagulation effect.

High quality neutralizer is also known as pH regulator, buffer (or acid type salt and alkali type salt and alkali type salt), which interact to regulate the medium pH value.

Advantages of Lime PH Neutralizer

The advantages are that the price is lower than sodium hydroxide, the treatment capacity is stronger than sodium hydroxide, the wastewater sewage water treatment  effect is good, the cost is 1/3 less than sodium hydroxide, and it can replace industrial soda ash (sodium carbonate).

In the anionic waterborne polyurethane lotion, when potassium hydroxide is used as the neutralizer, the lotion has a good appearance. During storage and high temperature use, yellowing is not easy to occur, and the water resistance of the lotion film is better. The neutralization degree should be controlled at 90%~100%, and the neutralization temperature should be 30~40 ℃.

Applications of PH Regulator

It is widely used in gold treatment solvent, chemical industry, paper making, water treatment, sewage purification treatment, construction, rubber, plastic filling additives, subgrade reconstruction, vegetable farm, fruit farm, breeding farm, waste incineration, thermal power plant desulfurization, deacidification and other industries wastewater sewage water treatment .
